Madeline McDonough, MS, RD, LDN is a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist who joined Van Dusen Nutrition® in 2020. Madeline’s mission is to empower clients to heal their relationships with food as well as make peace with their bodies. Her nutrition philosophy is grounded in the principles of Intuitive Eating and uses science as the backbone. Madeline’s passion lies in helping individuals harness their inner wisdom and thrive in a lifestyle that is nourishing, balanced and not inundated with stress or rigid food rules. Madeline currently works full-time in the Needham office and sees clients for Individual Nutrition Counseling and Therapeutic Meal Support®.
Madeline received a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Miami University. After interning with the Cleveland Clinic Wellness Institute as well as the Center for Functional Medicine, she continued on at Miami University to earn a Master of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Health Promotion. During this time, Madeline completed her graduate thesis which examined Orthorexia Nervosa in nutrition students.
Madeline then completed her dietetic internship at Be Well Solutions in Boston. Madeline contributes to several media outlets and her work has been featured in POPSUGAR. She is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
