Nicole Farnsworth, MS, RD, LDN, CPT is a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist and Certified Personal Trainer who joined Van Dusen Nutrition® in 2017. She is a clinician specializing in disordered eating, eating disorders, sports nutrition, weight management and childhood nutrition. Nicole is also the Clinical Coordinator of Programming and Outreach at Van Dusen Nutrition®.
Nicole received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Harvard University and following, she earned a Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition at Columbia University Medical Center’s Institute of Human Nutrition. Nicole then received a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of the District of Columbia and completed a dietetic internship at the National Institutes of Health.
Nicole worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City as well as a personal trainer at Sterling gym in Washington D.C. She currently works part-time at Boston Children’s Hospital Sports Medicine Division.
As a previous Varsity Track and Field Athlete at Harvard University and NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Nicole has developed a special interest in helping athletes with and without eating disorders adequately fuel their bodies for health and performance. As the lead clinician offering Therapeutic Movement Support™, she also works with clients who have developed a negative relationship with exercise reconnect to movement, sport and body in a more balanced way. Nicole currently sees clients for Individual Nutrition Counseling and Individual Therapeutic Movement Support™ .
Nicole is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutrition Dietetics Practice Group, Collegiate and Professional Sports Dietitian Association, and Multi-Service Eating Disorders Association.
