Allie DePaolo MS, RD, LDN is a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist who joined Van Dusen Nutrition® in 2021. Allie’s mission is to empower her clients to explore, renegotiate, and rebuild their relationship with food. She is passionate about dismantling diet culture and helping clients understand, and ultimately, respect their bodies. Allie currently works full-time in the Needham office and sees clients for Individual Nutrition Counseling and Therapeutic Meal Support®.

Allie received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of New Hampshire. She then earned her Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Integrative Physiology at the University of Utah. She completed her dietetic internship at multiple sites in Salt Lake City, Utah, including Primary Children’s Hospital where she developed interest in working with adolescents and families. Allie then went on to develop her skills in the eating disorder field, working in the acute residential, partial hospitalization, and outpatient levels of care. She first worked at the Cambridge Eating Disorder Center in Cambridge, MA and then at the Klarman Eating Disorders Center at McLean Hospital in Belmont, MA. Allie is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Behavioral Health Nutrition Dietetics Practice Group, and Multi-Service Eating Disorders Association.
