Sarah Brenner, RD, LDN, CPT is a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist and NASM Certified Personal Trainer who joined Van Dusen Nutrition in 2020. Sarah’s mission is to help clients establish and nurture positive relationships with food, body image, and exercise. She has a special interest in working with athletes and individuals looking to improve their connection to movement. She is passionate about dismantling diet culture and empowering clients to live a well-nourished life, free from food rules. Sarah currently works full-time in the Needham office and sees clients for Individual Nutrition Counseling, Therapeutic Meal Support® and Therapeutic Movement SupportTM.

Sarah received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She developed a special interest in the field of eating disorders while working at Center for Discovery’s residential treatment facility in Southport, CT. Sarah completed her dietetic internship with Sodexo, choosing a concentration in outpatient counseling. She continued to develop her clinical skills at Bridgeport Hospital in Connecticut, a part of the Yale New Haven Health System. Sarah is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and Multi-Service Eating Disorders Association.
