Jessica Hlosek, MS, RD, LDN, is a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist at Van Dusen Nutrition. Jessica currently sees clients for Individual Nutrition Counseling and Therapeutic Meal Support®.

Jessica received her Bachelor of Nutrition/Dietetics at University of Dayton. She went on to receive her Master of Science in Nutrition/Dietetics at Ball State University while completing an internship with focus in medical nutrition therapy.

Jessica found her passion in supporting others in their development of self-trust and normalized eating that embodies food and body freedom. She believes food is more than function and that food can be the perfect time to practice being present and mindful, really connecting with yourself and feeling.

She’s immersed herself in specializing in eating disorders, disordered eating, mood and anxiety, and weight inclusive care. She has experience working with all ages, genders, and all levels of care – residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient to support individuals as they reconnect to their bodies and heal their relationship with food. She works from a non-diet and weight-neutral approach and will support you on your journey with a curious, mindful, and compassionate stance.

Amanda Zapotosky is the full-time Administrative Director and Marketing Coordinator at Van Dusen Nutrition®. Amanda currently works remotely in Florida.

Amanda started her career in customer service positions until completing her dental assisting training. At that point, she worked in the dental field both as a clinical assistant and at the front desk. In these roles, she learned valuable skills in billing, scheduling, customer communication, and much more.

Amanda’s goal is to guide clients and parents through the scheduling and billing process to adequately match them with a clinician that fits their needs and help them understand their insurance benefits.

Additionally, with her love of art and graphic design, and knowledge of social media, Amanda has taken on the Marketing Coordinator role at Van Dusen Nutrition®.

Erica Carneglia, MS, RD, LDN, CPT is a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist and Certified Personal Trainer at Van Dusen Nutrition®. Erica currently works full-time in the Needham office and sees clients for Individual Nutrition Counseling. Therapeutic Meal Support® and Therapeutic Movement Support®. Additionally, she is a clinician who staffs our STEP® eating disorders program.

Erica has dedicated her career as a dietitian to individualized care. Her mission is to provide individuals with the knowledge, accountability and support they need to achieve balance in their relationship with food, exercise and body. Erica works closely with individuals to customize recommendations to their unique needs so they’re are able to walk away with the tools they need to maintain flexibility with food and work toward positivity.

Erica received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Miami University. After subsequently completing her Dietetic Internship, she then went on to receive her Master of Science in Nutrition and Health Promotion from Simmons University. Since then, Erica has been working one-on-one with individuals with goals pertaining to disordered eating, eating disorders, women’s health, disease management and disease prevention.

Naya Schere, MSW, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Van Dusen Nutrition®. Naya currently works in the Needham office, offering in person and virtual sessions, and sees clients for Individual Psychotherapy. Additionally, she is a clinician who staffs our STEP® eating disorders program.

Naya’s mission is to foster a therapeutic environment where clients can heal their relationships with food and their bodies while exploring their identities beyond the eating disorder.

Naya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brandeis University. She began her career at McLean Hospital, working first at Gunderson, a women’s residential program for Borderline Personality Disorder, and then in the psychotic disorders inpatient program. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University, specializing in advanced clinical practice. During her MSW, she interned with Crisis Text Line and the Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia (CSAB).

Most recently, Naya has worked at Walden Behavioral Care in their partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. In this role, she conducted individual psychotherapy, facilitated groups, and offered meal support. Naya utilizes a psychodynamic approach, incorporating elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, motivational interviewing, and Cognitive Processing Therapy.

She tailors her methods to each client’s individual needs to support sustainable change towards a life where they can cultivate a balanced relationship between their body and mind.

Jenna Salkovitz, MS, RD, LDN is a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist and Coordinator of Food Operations at Van Dusen Nutrition®. Jenna currently works full-time in the Needham office and sees clients for Individual Nutrition Counseling and Therapeutic Meal Support®. Additionally, she is a clinician who staffs our STEP® eating disorders program.

Jenna’s mission is to show individuals that food is not something to be feared, but something to be loved. She is passionate about mental health and the importance of nourishing your body physically but also mentally.

Jenna received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Keene State College. She then earned a Masters Degree in Nutrition and Health promotion from Simmons University. While in her masters program, she completed a thesis research project along side two other colleagues to create a standardized definition of eating disorder recovery. She completed her dietetic internship at the University of New Haven.

Jenna then went to work at Mclean Hospital in Belmont, MA covering 10 different inpatient units. While at Mclean, she was able to see patients with an array of psychiatric diagnoses including: depression, anxiety, active psychosis, schizophrenia and eating disorder patients with additional psychiatric co-morbidities. This is where her passion for nutrition and mental health, and specifically eating disorders, developed.

Jenna is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Behavioral Health Nutrition Dietetics Practice Group.

Kristine Berube, RD, LDN, RYT-500, Certified Reiki Master, is a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist, Trauma-Informed Registered Yoga Teacher and Coordinator of Wellness Services at Van Dusen Nutrition®. Kristine currently works full-time in the Needham office and sees clients for Individual Nutrition Counseling, Therapeutic Meal Support®, Therapeutic Movement Support® and Therapeutic Yoga. Additionally, she is a clinician who staffs our STEP® eating disorders program.

Kristine’s mission is to help individuals build trust in their minds and bodies so as to heal toxic relationships with nutrition and exercise. Kristine focuses on a whole body approach and utilizes intuitive eating principles, mindfulness, and therapeutic movement to help develop trust within ones internal cues. She is passionate about helping others form healthy relationships with food and their bodies. 

Kristine received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Framingham State University’s Coordinated Program of Dietetics. Her program included a diverse internship experience, which incorporated acute care medical nutrition therapy, community nutrition programming, and school nutrition management. Kristine then went on to provide outpatient nutrition therapy where she began implementing intuitive eating and mindfulness-based practices with her clients.

Kristine’s passions brought her to Boston where she began studying yoga and Reiki. She then completed both her 200-hour yoga teacher training from Radiant Yoga Boston and Reiki Master certification with Libby Barrett in 2019. She went on to further her training and completed her 300-hour yoga teacher training from Chakra Power Yoga and 35-hour Trauma Yoga Training from JP Centre Yoga in 2023.

Lexie’s mission is to create a safe space to explore your relationship with food and find peace with your body. Lexie focuses on a Health at Every Size approach to nutrition and utilizes the principles of intuitive eating along with mindfulness to cultivate a balanced body and mind. She works to lessen black and white thinking around food and guide clients to better understand the benefits and freedom that come with eating intuitively.

Lexie received a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the State University College of New York at Oneonta, followed by a Master of Science degree in Nutrition from the University at Buffalo. She also completed a dietetic internship at University at Buffalo that included extensive training in clinical and community nutrition. Lexie started her nutrition career in intensive inpatient nutrition utilizing medical nutrition therapy in intensive care units and medical floors, followed by cardiac rehab and outpatient services where she started using motivational interviewing and intuitive eating principles to guide clients to build health-enhancing habits.

Leigh P. Van Dusen, MS, LDN is the Owner, Director of Clinical Operations and a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist at Van Dusen Nutrition®. She has been a practicing clinician for 22 years and specializes in the areas of eating disorders, disordered eating, weight and body concerns and sports nutrition.

Leigh received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Tufts University. Following, Leigh earned a Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition/Nutritional Biochemistry from the Tufts University School of Nutrition Science and Policy in Boston, MA. Leigh worked at Deaconess Waltham Hospital’s inpatient eating disorder unit in Waltham, MA, Laurel Hill Inn’s residential eating disorder program in Medford, MA, and Massachusetts General Hospital’s Neuroendocrine Unit in Boston, MA.

Leigh then relocated to New York City and worked as a Nutrition Therapist at the Renfrew Center of New York and The Center for the Treatment of Eating Disorders in Livingston, NJ. In 2002, Leigh opened a private practice in New York City and in 2008, she moved back to Massachusetts where she opened a private practice in Cambridge, MA and became the consulting nutritionist for the Middlesex School in Concord, MA. In 2015, Leigh added a second private practice office location in Needham, MA and in 2017, expanded her practice to include additional Registered Dietitians.

Leigh and her team have created and trademarked three programs currently offered within the practice: STEP®, Therapeutic Meal Support® and Therapeutic Movement Support®. She has also developed and implemented nutrition therapy support groups, presented at national and local conferences and supervised other practicing nutritionists. Additionally, she has served as an Advisory Board Member and Lecturer for the Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia (CSAB) in New York, NY and been a member of the Board of Directors for the Multi-Service Eating Disorders Association (MEDA).

Leigh is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutrition Dietetics Practice Group, Academy for Eating Disorders, International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals, International Federation of Eating Disorder Dietitians, and Multi-Service Eating Disorders Association. Leigh is also an affiliate provider for Hynes Recovery Services and the named sports nutritionist for the organization’s Eating Disorder Intervention Team for Collegiate Athletes.
