Melanie Lehman, RD, LDN is the Assistant of Director of Clinical Services and a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist at Van Dusen Nutrition®. Melanie currently works full-time in the Needham office and sees clients for Individual Nutrition Counseling and Therapeutic Meal Support®. Additionally, she is a clinician who staffs our STEP® eating disorders program.

Melanie’s mission is to provide individualized nutrition support to help clients reach their goals and live a balanced lifestyle. Melanie focuses on the whole person and aims to help individuals mend and find peace in their relationships to food and body.

Melanie received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of New Hampshire. She then completed her dietetic internship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. During the internship, Melanie worked at Joslin Diabetes Center where she developed an interest in clients struggling concurrently with diabetes and eating disorders.

Melanie then went on to develop her skills in the eating disorder field at the Cambridge Eating Disorder Center in Cambridge, MA where she worked at both the acute residential treatment and partial hospitalization levels of care.

Melanie is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and Multi-Service Eating Disorders Association.
