Michelle Bugbee, MS, RD, LDN, CPT

Michelle Bugbee, MS, RD, LDN, CPT is a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist and NASM Certified Personal Trainer at Van Dusen Nutrition®. Michelle currently works part-time in the Needham office and sees clients for Individual Nutrition Counseling and Individual Therapeutic Movement Support®.

As a collegiate athlete, Michelle has a special interest in helping athletes fuel their bodies in a way that promotes optimal health and performance while maintaining a positive relationship with food. She also works with clients to repair and strengthen their connections to movement, exercise and body.

Michelle received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire. She then worked at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in operational management for 6 years, where she was introduced to the field of dietetics. Michelle went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Health Promotion and a Certificate in Sports Nutrition from Simmons University. She also completed a dietetic internship at Simmons University that included extensive training in both performance nutrition and eating disorders.

Michelle is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Sports and Human Performance Nutrition Dietetics Practice Group, Collegiate and Professional Sports Dietitian Association, and Multi-Service Eating Disorders Association.
